I am stylin’ with Bruce Campbell

Sponsored by StylinOnline – 200,000 pop culture t-shirts in-stock & in your size: http://StylinOnline.com. Bruce Campbell fans have been lining up for years to get to the actor / director / writer / producer, and the New York Comic Con is no different. With cult classics like “The Evil Dead”, “The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.”, “Army of Darkness”, as well as his title role, “My Name is Bruce”, Bruce remains in demand now as “Sam Axe” on USA’s “Burn Notice. KP fights the crowds of waiting fans to speak with Bruce in the the midst of signing autographs for his “clients” – the people, he says, that pays his salary every year (great attitude, Bruce!) As much as he loves the old work and remembers it fondly, he is having a blast with his new roles too. Look for cameo’s from Stylin Online CEO James Cucchiara in the background. Robot Safety Center Opens in Tsukuba, Japan

I’m very happy to see they are now testing smashing robots into small children.

Saw this on Engadget:

The fair city of Tsukuba, which (as you know) is located in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, has recently become home to the new Robot Safety Center. A collaboration between a number of organizations including Japan’s Automobile Research Institute (JARI), the center has areas for testing various robots and exoskeletons for things like obstacle detection, electronic jamming resistance, durability, and more. As well as developing safety standards for the devices, it is hoped that within the next five years it will provide certification services for new robots as they become commercially available. Some eighteen tests have been installed at the facility thus far, and we must say that it looks like fun! See some examples after the break.

For some reason this made me think of Robot Chicken and this shirt-

Blizzard Confirms Next-Gen MMO “Titan” Is In The Works!

Fans of Blizzard already saw the leaked four year release schedule, now we finally have confirmation that Titan is in fact (drum roll) actually in the works.

From IGN:

We all know Blizzard has some brand new MMO in development to eventually succeed World of Warcraft, and for a while it’s been rumored to be codenamed “Titan” — even showing up on a purportedly leaked four-year release schedule late last month (via MMOGameSite). Now it can at least be said that “Titan” is technically no longer a rumor.

Speaking with Destructoid before the Spike TV VGAs last Saturday, Blizzard’s Frank Pearce spilled the very limited amount of beans. “The media is not supposed to know anything about [Titan],” Pearce said. “It’s our next-gen MMO, and we’ve only started talking about it in a limited fashion because we wanted to leverage the fact that we’re working on something like that for the purpose of recruiting, getting some of the best talent in the industry on that project.”

Sponsored by StylinOnline – 200,000 pop culture t-shirts in-stock & in your size: http://StylinOnline.com. “Captain America” has been a pillar of Marvel comics since his inception in 1941 during World War II and the battle with the Axis Powers. The adventures of “Steve Rogers” and the experimental serum he took in order to aid the United States war effort was good story for a country looking for heroes. His costume bearing the American flag complimented nicely an indestructible shield use for fighting the enemies of Democracy. “Cap” fans can look forward to crushing Red Skull and his army “by any means necessary” in a game console of their choice in 2011. KP speaks with Sega Assoc. Producer BJ Enriquez about “Captain America: Super Soldier” and his journey to build the first Captain America game. From capturing his athletic moves, to bringing his shield to life, BJ and the team have been working 8 hours a day for the last two years to keep the game and the story line true to the character and the history he has created. If I Was Keith Richards, I’d Want to Find The Fountain of Youth Also!

Mermaids, Zombies, Black Beard and Keith Richards… I think this movie may be a win already.

In this action-packed tale of truth, betrayal, youth and demise, Captain Jack Sparrow crosses paths with a woman from his past (Penelope Cruz), and he’s not sure if it’s love–or if she’s a ruthless con artist who’s using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge, the ship of the formidable pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn’t know who to fear more: Blackbeard or the woman from his past.

The fourth Pirates of the Caribbean flick is out May 20th, 2012.
