Sad day, Steve Jobs has stepped down as CEO of Apple, the company he established in 1976 along with Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne.
CUPERTINO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Apple’s Board of Directors today announced that Steve Jobs has resigned as Chief Executive Officer, and the Board has named Tim Cook, previously Apple’s Chief Operating Officer, as the company’s new CEO. Cowboys & Aliens squared off against The Smurfs and it looks like we have a tie. While this is great for the Smurfs, word is Cowboys & Aliens was expected to haul in more around $40 mil for it’s opening weekend.
