News From The Spike Video Game Awards

First: Bungie gave the world a first look at Halo: Reach, while no actual gameplay was shown, the trailer did feature in-engine graphics and the first look at what is supposedly Planet Reach.

It’s been a while since the Medal of Honor franchise has found its way on to store shelves, but we’re interested for what the series will bring to the crowded realm of modern shooters. At tonight’s 2009 Video Game Awards, the first footage of the recently revealed Medal of Honor impressed with solid visuals and a metric ton of explosions.

Samuel L. Jackson took the stage to announce Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2. The trailer features a Vader vs. Yoda voice over, Starkiller fighting a beast muuuuch larger than a Rancor, but no gameplay, and no release date.

Man, I’d post a video if they didn’t go up and down so quick. I’ll come back and update you guys when more official videos surface.

Oh and just now, Rocksteady and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced the sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum is currently in development. We knew it was coming, and we can’t wait.
