Disney’s flick about guinea pigs who come to life and kill everybody (ok so it’s a family pic and that never happens) “G-Force” was the winner at the domestic B.O., opening over the weekend to an estimated $32.3 million from 3,697 playdates and besting Warner Bros. holdover “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.”
“Half-Blood Prince” remained the worldwide leader, earning a magical $84.4 million internationally for a total haul of $627.1 million. That’s the top pace for the “Potter” franchise. Domestic gross was an estimated $30 million from 4,325 runs.
Seems like no matter how much I want live action talking animal movies to die they never will. It’s most upsetting.
