Star Trek Game Enemy… The Gorn

Now this is cool, it looks like the Gorn are going to be the main enemy in the upcoming Star Trek game.

Based on the screen below they are looking more like Slar, a Gorn from the Enterprise episode “In a Mirror, Darkly Part II” and less like the the Gorn which Captain Kirk fought in the original series episode “Arena”. Continue reading Star Trek Game Enemy… The Gorn

Star Trek Fans, I Found Some Abandoned Concept Art

I was looking around the web for something to buy myself and ran across some abandoned Ralph McQuarrie concept art from ‘Star Trek – Planet of the Titans‘ (this was going to be Paramount’s first attempt at a big-screen Star Trek movie).

How ‘Star Trek’ Should Have Ended!

Watch the 3-minute “How ‘Star Trek’ Should Have Ended” video here below and be sure to stick around after the credits.

I have to say I love these videos This was a real fun one, as Star Trek was my favorite movie of 2009 and this revised ending has some special appearances you’ll definitely love. Trust me on this one.

Confirmed: R2-D2 Finally Discovered In Star Trek

sciencefictionstuff was the first to break it:

As you can see, R2D2 is floating through the debris field in a shot where the Director figured out attention would of course be on the giant Romulan ship, the Nerada. While completely ignoring this little robot floating gently to the left of the screen.

But here he is! Undeniable proof that R2D2 somehow was transported through space and time in order to witness the destruction of Vulcan.

I guess the chances are that he was then sucked into the black hole and sent far far away with all the debris from Vulcan…

*Update, some people online are saying that this image is Photoshoped but I want to help prove that it is not. The best way to do this I have found is to play your copy of ‘Star trek’ with Media Player Classic and use the amazing frame advance feature to get the still… thats how I done it.

I am truly amazed that I seem to be one of the few people who spotted this, yay for me! lolz.

Then Gizmodo backed it up:

In this frame you can clearly see R2-D2’s cameo in JJ Abrams’ Star Trek. This time there’s absolutely no doubt about it: It’s been confirmed by ILM.

Can you see him floating there, on the left, right below the huge arrow that I also missed when I saw the movie? That’s obviously him, a fact that has been confirmed to me by one of the movie’s sequence supervisors at Industrial Light & Magic—the same guy who said this previous sighting was just the shuttle.
