Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studios have just released the second trailer for Thor. Unlike the other trailers that had been just rebuilt and rehashed footage from Comic Con last year (the Super Bowl commercial is included in this crop), this one is more centered around (Oscar nominee!) Natalie Portman and shows off the funnier side of the movie.
Thankfully the trailer also includes a bit more footage of Destroyer (a favorite around the Stylin Office) and mortal enemies of everybody from Asgard, the Frost Giants. We also get to see more of Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and Darcy(Kat Dennings), the latter of which seems to provide many of the film’s lighter moments.
“Thor” hits theaters May 6, 2011.

Based on the super awesome and fan favorite God of Thunder of the same name… he’s just your average immortal, slightly arrogant and cast out of Asgard by his father Odin in order to instill some humility in him.
Directing the film is Kenneth Branagh (Hamlet, Sleuth), and it stars Chris Hemsworth (Star Trek, A Perfect Getaway), Natalie Portman (Black Swan, Garden State), Anthony Hopkins (Silence of the Lambs, Legends of the Fall), and Tom Hiddleston (Unrelated, War Horse).

Kinda goes along with what we thought Chris Hemsworth playing the Mighty Thor would look like, however it would be cool for Mjolnir to be a hair bigger.
